Soothing

I plugged this into my night stand. So many sounds and backgrounds to fall asleep too. Nice volume control also

White Noise/Night LIght Machine

This compact little machine has common functions of these sorts of devices - the ability to turn off/on the sounds, select the sounds and volume, turn on/off a light, select the brightness of the light and color and set a timer for the whole thing to turn off. This unit has a battery so it's portable for rooms where you don't want a cable near a kid, take onto a trip or whatever room the kids have available for a nap. The controls are fairly self explanatory (outside of some of the long/short press behaviors), so it's worth reviewing the short included instruction sheet. This also uses a USBC cable vs. something that's proprietary, which is also really convenient. I can even see taking this along for something like camping to use as a table light (you can use the light without the sound). Nice for this kind of product!

Hardest Thing to Turn On

This sound machine is horrible. I followed the directions and held the on button on for 3 seconds and the only thing that would come on was the light. I tried holding longer and still no sound. Will be buying a different brand.
